Rolleston Mine- Site Mechanical Engineering

Scope

Wave was commissioned to support Rolleston on various projects and services including site mechanical engineering, compliance audits and nose to tail interaction studies.

Description

Wave delivered site mechanical engineering secondment for 2.5 years and completed compliance audits, risk ranking of non-compliances and support rectification works. This comprised a site wide audit covering all fixed and mobile equipment (access systems) and in-house auditing which included MDG 15 mobile equipment compliance, fixed plant guarding, confined space, and restricted area.  Wave also carried out a nose to tail interaction study covering all haul truck models on site.

Various other projects completed for Rolleston Mine include ROM feeder access system, temporary wash bay upgrades, dragline jib crane and CAT 793 chassis replacement.
