BMC – SOUTH WALKER CREEK MINE ACCESS ROAD UPGRADE

Scope

Wave were commissioned to undertake a condition review and prepare a rehabilitation strategy to upgrade the South Walker Mine access road.

Description

The South Walker Creek Mine Access Road Upgrade project included the preparation of a brief for the detail survey, the preparation of a geotechnical investigation, testing, the design brief and management of the geotechnical contractor, the preliminary and detail designs of the proposed roadway and drainage rehabilitation, and the establishment of rehabilitation options.

At design completion, Wave updated the cost estimates and finalised a multi-year strategy to rehabilitate the full length of the access roadway.
