Scope
Wave was engaged in developing Asset Management Process for Orica and included Process Engineering, Optimisation, Debottlenecking and Operational Readiness.
Description
A pilot program was conducted at the Orica Yarwun site due to the diverse mix of products being manufactured. The processes included:
- Asset Criticality Assessments and associated documentation;
- Generic Maintenance Programs for like assets; and
- PM development processes using FMEA.
The program was a resounding success, resulting in it being rolled out across SI sites worldwide, beginning with Orica’s newest SI Plant in Hunan, China.
