Detailed Engineering and Project Management on the BMA Goonyella Riverside- FRCP Equipment Guarding project.
Description
Appointed as the engineers and project managers on BMA’s Fatal Risk Control Protocols (FRCP)- Machinery Guarding Project (including shovels and draglines), Wave’s responsibilities included:
- All engineering designs to comply with AS4024;
- Documentation; and
- Project Management.
The integrity of guarding around machinery was significantly improved, along with faster and safer access for maintenance staff, which in turn reduced maintenance costs and downtime.
Wave’s ability to complete accurate detailed design for “one off” designs and delivery focused project management style contributed to a cost effective and timely solution for the client.
