Mt Carlton Mine Expansion
Scope
Wave were appointed by the Client as the Project Management group to work on the Mt Carlton Underground Mine Expansion and Process Plant upgrade project. This included the management of the scope of works for the underground mine services and, the surface process and non-process infrastructure.
Description
Wave delivered the power, air and water services (including 22kV and 11kV substations, pumps, pipes, anchor blocks, fibre optics and radio communications), the mine area facilities (including offices, accommodation buildings, bathhouses and site drainage works), Process Plant upgrades (which included Civil, Concrete, SMP and E&I- 12m thickener and a new 25m2 LAROX filter, and upgrades to the flotation cells unit) and finally the underground mine works which included surveying, geology and geotechnical services.
All works were delivered by Wave on time and as scheduled.
